Haitian migration to the U.S. fell by more than 90 per cent in October after the Biden administration ramped up deportation flights in September, according to new data revealed Thursday.

Customs and Border Protection data obtained by The Washington Post showed 1,000 Haitian migrants were taken into custody crossing from Mexico into the U.S. last month compared to the 17,638 who were apprehended the month before.

The massive spike in September came as a huge caravan of Haitian migrants crossed from Mexico into the U.S. and set up a makeshift encampment of around 15,000 people near the international bridge in Del Rio, Texas.
