The Netsilik people are found in one of the most unforgiving ecosystems in the world. Winter is bitter and summer is cool and short. Edible plant life is limited and life is very dependent on the animals living in the nearby environment. Despite the harsh conditions, the Netsilik people thrive in their extreme environment. Through the ability to survive the Netsilik were able to forage and hunt adapting to their biological needs and evidence of these adaptations are likely to remain even 1000 years from now for future archeologists to study.
