An Overview of the Human Resource Management in the Modern Corporations
Human resources is a very important part of any company’s organizational success. In fact, without effective human resources, any organization is doomed to fail. (Cornelius, 2020) As such, businesses place a great deal of importance in both identifying inefficiencies and bringing out the full potential in their human resources. However, because human resources in any given company are so unique and varied, it can often be difficult to come up with a one-size-fits-all approach to identifying inefficiencies. That being said, there are methodologies to doing just that and bringing out the greatest possibilities of the human resources department. (Armstrong, 2000) The following essay will provide a firsthand example of inefficiencies in human resources, describe how these inefficiencies could be handled, define the changes which would have to occur in job design in order to implement these strategies, identify how people should be measured in light of these suggestions, before finally explaining whether or not additional compensation would need to be offered as a result of these modifications.
