            Cemex is a Mexican, multinational building materials company with business interests in Mexico, their base-of-operations, the United States, and Spain. They have become an internationally renowned cement-producer and major competitor in the field, and maintains a significantly high revenue in the industry with $15.7 billion as of 2019. However, faced with numerous counts of environmental law violations in the U.S. they have slowly lost momentum and were on the verge of severe financial recession, hadn’t not they changed their public perception. 

This is where social media comes into play. Cemex is under the impression that creating their own internal social media platform will help generate new outlets to help recover their fading public image.
