CCOT ESSAY During the Early Modern Period the world was experiencing many changes, some of which included religion. There were many changes in religion in Western Europe during the Early Modern Period (1450-1750) including changes in the Roman Catholic Church, due to the Protestant Reformation, and the creation of the Church of England; however, a constant throughout this period was the fact that Western Europe remained predominately Christian.
